There are many reasons why emails do not make it to the destination, and when this occurs, you can typically expect to receive a "bounce" auto-reply email back.

Common Reasons That Cause an Email to Bounce

  1. You may have hit you're per-hourly sending limit
  2. The destination address has a typo in the address
  3. The destination email services are currently experiencing issues
  4. Your email was flagged as spam (subject missing, many URL links are listed in email etc...)
  5. These are just a few common reasons.

Many times you will receive an auto-reply message with some information pertaining to why your email did not get to the destination.

Obtaining Assistance

Include a copy of the text on the auto-reply (bounce) message.
