Did you convert your site to secure HTTP(S) yet?  There are changes coming to owners of sites that currently do not purchase SSL Certificates today.  For decades, using HTTP (not HTTPS) was the the norm. But as of July 2018, Chrome (owned by Google) will be the first browser to start showing your site as not Secure in the address bar.

In addition, Google will start penalizing sites that do not have a SSL Certificate (HTTPS) tied to them during searches. This alone is enough to warrant upgrading your site today to SSL Certificate secured (HTTPS).  To learn more about the chrome changes click here

So how do you transition your website to a secure HTTP(S) and get the secured padlock displayed?
It's pretty easy for Northwoods Web Designs customers. For as low as $2 a month, we will generate, obtain and install your SSL certificate on your site. For existing customers and for websites built by Northwoods Web Designs, we will even correct the internal coding on your pages to assure the site receives the 100% padlock & secure proof of validation (up to 20 page websites or 2hrs of work, no extra charge).

Compare and purchase your SSL Certificate and be prepared for the future.
