The harder part is to make sure there is a standard social media voice, or that the communication style used will be consistent across the board and knowing what to &#8220;post\/communicate&#8221; within your social media channels.<\/p>\n<p>Below are some helpful tips to find your &#8220;voice&#8221;:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Review\u00a0your fellow business owners.\u00a0<\/strong>Do a quick search for the the top &#8220;your industry&#8221; blogs, this will give you some ideas to start with and study. You won&#8217;t be copying, but simply getting a better idea of what you don&#8217;t like or do like.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Identify your tone. <\/strong>\u00a0Simply ask yourself, \u201cWhat does my &#8220;your industry services&#8221; sound like in my head?\u201d Is it casual, fun or a serious tone? Is it formal and prestigious? Consider your product (or services) and target demographic (if you have a large range of target demographic.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apply your voice in long-form writing.<\/strong>If you have a blog, this is a fantastic place to use your voice and connect with the audience. Sharing stories, ideas, and news will help increase your SEO, too. No blog? No problem.
