Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to build a small business website?

We'll always be guided by your timeframes but, in general, you should allow 3-6 weeks for total development time from the moment you provide us with your web content. This includes time to:

  • Build your website design prototype (1 week)
  • Code the design into a working website (2 weeks)
  • Add your content, check and test your site thoroughly before going live (1 weeks).

You can speed this process up by having your content (text/or any images you would like incorporated) ready to go before we start. A Website is the only marketing tool that works 365 days a year 24/7 for your business.

How much will a website cost?

Since a website is custom made, the cost of your website will depend on the simplicity or complexity of it. A simple three page website with navigational links between pages and a few images, for example, would cost much less than a Website that has many pages and images, several navigational links, forms, tables, animations and so on.

After determining what services and features you are considering, Northwoods Web Designs can provide you with a quote.  Keep in mind, a website consists of multiple services, including domain name registration, hosting & maintenance and the general design and development.
